Hey everybody,

I had a quick question, that I didn't see searching throught the archived posts.

My a/c is not working when I turn the switch - no air and a/c light does not turn on. Don't think it's low on freon, because I just had the a/c checked by the a/c specialist in San Antonio. There pretty good. Anyway, it was blowing very cold when I took it in and just took it in to get a check up. So I'm pretty sure it's not a leak.

I checked for power at the fuse - good. Blower motor did not have any power so I proceded to the switch. I have power coming in, but nothing going to the blower motor.

Did I forget something or is my switch at fault? Any suggestions would be appreciated. I want to double check this too. The controller houses the switch, right? If this is the fault then would I have to replace the controller?

Thank you in advance,
Joe

What year is your car and do you have manual A/C or "climatronic"?

There is a main relay on both systems. Could be that your relay failed. I think it is either relay 384 or 267 depending on what a/c system you have. Don't quote me on the relay numbers though, this is off the top of my head.

Thank you for your support. It is a 99 MY. Are the relays behind the fuse holder, under the dash?
