Hi all, I have an issue with my 2006 b6. The aircon clutch is constantly engaged, with aircon off/ engine off. It has been regased and I get cooler air if I switch to econ. Any ideas? Is it worth switching out just the clutch to see, or is that a waste of time?? I’d be grateful for any help

There is no 'clutch' on the compressor, it is engaged full time. When off it continues to be driven, but with no output.
There is a compressor control switch on the back side, secured with a circlip that is known to prevent the comp from
producing pressure. Input from the ecm controls this switch.
