Einszett Glanz Wax
Everyone uses Einszett Glanz Wax. Everyone.

Seriously, do a search. There are more discussions about wax and detailing on this board than anywhere else in the world. [Edit: search function is f'd up ]
Here are a few more popular ones from memory: Zaino, Klasse, Turtle Wax  IMO the key to a happy clean car is clay bar (and a suite of Einszett products ).

If you are serious about car care then check out this link, http://www.bettercarcare.com/topics.php?topicId=17.

As for what I use, I've been using einszett's Glanz Wax for the last two years and I love it. Easy to use and looks great. I've also picked up a bottle of Meguiar's new polymer protection called NXT Generation Tech Wax that I'm looking forward to using when I get some good weather. If you are looking for something that is over-the-counter then check out Wal-mart or Autozone for the Tech Wax. I've seen it on black and it looks really nice, darkens the color and will slightly fill cobweb effect. For more on Tech Wax see the link, http://www.meguiars.com/whatsnew/techwax.cfm.

Some online retailers of 1Z (einszett):
www.detailersparadise.com
www.autopia-carcare.com

Good luck! :D

Wrong and Wrong. Serious detailing discussions are held over at http://www.autopia-carcare.com and Einszett, while decent, isn't the best on dark cars, IMHO. It's not nearly as shiny as Klasse with a good quality Carnuba paste on top.

now here's a topic that's been beaten to death.
This is what I was trying to avoid by suggesting a search in my first post. And for those of you playing along at home, my everyone statement deserves a  . My apologies.

I really prefer Pinnacle for black. It is expensive - but worth the price since one does not have to use very much in order to get black to look like a mirror.
