a few engine codes, boost leak i suppose ? HOW DO I REMOVE THIS PART?

hey guys
i have a 03 passat GL 1.8T
it has the speedtuning flash in it and 93K on it

the folowing codes show up on the VAGcom

17705 - Pressure Drop between Turbo and Throttle Valve (check D.V.!)
P1297 - 002 - Lower Limit Exceeded
16684 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
P0300 - 008 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent
16685 - Cylinder 1: Misfire Detected
P0301 - 008 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent
16688 - Cylinder 4: Misfire Detected
P0304 - 008 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent
16683 - Boost Pressure Regulation: Control Range Not Reached
P0299 - 002 - Lower Limit Exceeded - Intermittent - MIL ON


first of all, am i right to assume that the first codes is the reason for the other 4 ?

i checked the DV and it seems fine
(its a steel case bosch version with the stiffer spring and plate in it)

i should have a boost leak tester flaoting around somewhere in the garage, that would be the best place to start right ?

Thats interesting, I just got the speedtuning flash and I am getting some of the same codes. I have a 05 1.8t. I got a bunch of codes the first time that my CEL came on after i cleared them the only code i kept getting was the p0299. I emailed oliver and he told me it was most likely the n249 valve. I bypassed the valve but still get the same code. I thought it was my DV at first two but after replacing it, I still get the same codes. How much boost are you getting. I was making about 20psi for the first couple of days but since the codes I can't make more than 13-15psi.

ive ran the flash for about 20-25K without any real issues
(i think i blew one hose of and cracked a few others)
the 0299 i think means that the computer is not seeing the boost it should
i too am making about 13-15 right now

i know the DV is fine which is why im expecting a leak somehwere

found the broken part but i cant get it out


ill post pics as soon as i find the wifeys phone but ill try to describe it to you guys

the broken part is a hard plastic piece that comes out of the engine, right underneath the intake manifold
the bottom seems to be about 1,5-2 inches wide then it curves 90 degrees, to the back of the car and narrows down in diameter untill it reaches about 0.5-1 inch
it is then connected to a rubber couples and with a few other hoses runs towards the puck valve

it looks like it is held in place by a black metal disc but i dont know if i should push it in or pull it out and i dont want to dammage anything else

so what is it and how do i get it out ?

ok guys, i found a diagram
the broken part is the breather tube

(pay no mind to the red in the picture, thats how i found it online)

so im guessing the part number is 06A 103 213 F

looks like the retaining clip is a simple spring ?
how do i get it out ?
