Afternoon CB5 - some of you may remember me from ... etc

I have a buddy who became addicted to mint Oreos on his recent trip to the States.

He has since discovered that they aren't sold here in the UK and wonders if anyone would be willing to help him feed his addiction by purchasing and shipping him some.

If anyone is willing to assist he'd be eternally grateful.

Let me know!

I can see if we have them at my grocery store this afternoon. Send some funds to cover shipping to the UK and I'll be glad to send some over.

But be warned, these addictions can be dangerous.

How close is your buddy located to one of the U.S. military installations located in the UK with a commissary available? It might be worthwhile (save time and money) making friends with one of the persons able to enter and shop in such a facility.

Maybe your buddy should look into vapor Oreos. Same great taste without the fat and calories. Plus you get a nice dose of nicotine running around your brain.

Chicken in a car, the car won't go, that's how we spell Oreo.

Man, I miss this place sometimes, thanks for the replies gents.

From the top!

Thank you, I may well take you up on this offer..

Does amazon ship to uk?
They do but they quote huge lead times and try and put their hand up your bottom when it comes to import duty.

Amazon UK has a few sellers but the reputable ones are all out of stock.

Drugs are bad mmmmmm'kay?
Amen brother.

"friend" eh?

I'm proud to announce I've never even tried an Oreo myself. Not a fan of chocolate sadly.

Nice idea but he's from Manchester - they struggle to make friends up there.

Ha! Noted!

I'll take a look Sam!
Cheers DanielSan, appreciated.

Dangerous addiction indeed! The watermelon ones are awesome as well!
WHAT IS THIS WITCHCRAFT YOU SPEAK OF? WATERMELON FLAVORED OREOS?

:usflag:
You're both wrong in the head.

Thank you Jay, not sure what a Girl Scout tastes like but if it's good, I may well take you up on that!

I'll report back to my buddy and see what he wants to do - thanks again for the replies.

It was not me who became addicted to these biscuits (although I do enjoy a nibble) but my better half who I proposed to whilst in Florida.

Between these and cookies & crème pop tarts, she's going to bankrupt me.

In terms of suppliers in the UK, we have a handful of specialist importers but all are currently out of stock.

Amazon and eBay are both stupidly expensive and it was Sam's idea to ask on here as I don't have any American friends.

Mr JayTheSnork & VaGuy - I'm more than happy to reward you financially or in kind (no homo) - I hear Americans adore our Jaffa Cakes?

I'm confused now, do we have two addicts here, or are you the "buddy"?
