Would size 235/45R17 fit on a b5 99' 1.8T passat? im sorry im new at this but everyone has to start somewhere.
If not im sure there are alternetives

Yes, it would fit... but if you don't get a lowering kit to go along with it... the car will explode! :shock:

I have that exact tire/rim size combo on my 2002 1.8T. It will definitely fit. Just get the right offset of wheels.

I think that he means what offset should he look for....I was going to run 235's on the back and 225's on the front.....can I do this with the 17" audi sport wheels?

Should be fine.
You can run pretty much anything within a 30mm to a 45mm offset.

45mm might be cutting it close with a 235 though...

Which Audi wheel are you talking about?
The Audi wheels usually have about a 35mm offset, which is perfect.
