Mine is 2002 I am running stock 195/65-15 Mishelins and getting ready to replace tires after 35K.
Everibody is mentioning option with 205/60-15 and I was wondering why no one is talking about 205/65-15. These are the spects for all three

Specification Sidewall Radius Diameter Circumference Revs/km Difference
195/65-15 127mm 317mm 634mm 1993mm 502 0.0%
205/65-15 133mm 324mm 648mm 2034mm 492 2.0%
205/60-15 123mm 314mm 627mm 1970mm 508 -1.2%

Second Question is how can I find out what rim size my stock have 6" or 7" because I was considering installing 215 size

Ok thank you. That answers my first question.
About the second one, is the rim size 6" or 6.5" or even 7" on my 2002 1.8T Everibody is saying that 215 tire fits on 7".
Will it work on 6.5". How do I check Size without taking tire off?

What about the 215/60-15? I think the diameter is very close to the 195/65-15. I find the revs busy enough on my 5sp 1.8T at highway speed (80-90mph) and would be leary at running smaller diameter wheels (even higher RPM's). I plan to move up to 215's when my 195's are toast.
