2018 passat fog light issue

Hello VW owner friends,

I did VAG-COM in my passat to turn on fog light support on cornering. it did work and it is very nice feature. now I did not notice until today... my car was right behind super shine car that mirror my car front. I was trying to turn left and had left turning signal on and my fog light came on without turning steering wheel. I never thought one side fog light comes on while signal light is blinking.
I would like to turn off. Can I just turn off that function? fog light turn on while turning signal is blinking?

With due respect to maxx007at I am going to suggest that the European Passat is quite different from the NMS Passat sold and built in North America.
I also believe that, yes the fog light on the NMS Passat can be made to turn off when the signal light is on.

Thank you so much! so...do you know coding how to turn off that feature? I want to keep cornering light when I turn steering wheel. I just want to turn off fog light comes on when I turn signal indicator on. Many Thanks!

Unfortunately it’s either both (foglight on when turning your steering wheel and/or when using your turn signals) or none

It used to be called Vag-Com, the new way to refer to that is "VCDS" .
Sorry I do not know exactly where you would find the particular section. You'll have to search through it all.
Having said that, before you ever make ANY changes do a complete scan and save the file to your computer.
That way if you need to revert to before this will let you do it.
