Hi everyone, I hope you are all well.

I have a 2011 Passat and cannot get the fuel flap open. It makes no difference whether the doors of the car are locked or unlocked. There is no button in the car to open this flap. I am almost out of fuel and only discovered this problem this morning. Does anyone have any idea how this can be fixed?

Thank you!!

Have you tried pushing on it to unlatch it? My A4 does it that way. Not sure about ROW B7s though.

Do you have an owner's manual?

Same for B7, just push on the edge of the fuel door, but on B7, the remote must be nearby for proximity to work simular to touching the door handle to open locked doors with the remote nearby, or the fuel door remains locked to stop vandalism, so if you have a remote, check the battery.
Good luck,
