I the cat, flex pipe and whatever comes after the flex pipe all one piece?

Are muffler shops able to cut flex out and weld in new?

If not, I would replace the cat, flex pipe with a catless downpipe (and tune out rear o2 or kill CEL by other means). Can I order any downpipe (ebay) or are the versions to select from?
Can someone recommend (link) one that is a known fit?
