Courtesy JD Power.

The study, based on responses from more than 97,000 new vehicle owners and lessees, measures customer satisfaction among new-vehicle owners with the dealer service department during the first three years of vehicle ownership, which typically represents the majority of the vehicle warranty period. Satisfaction is measured by six service categories: initiating service, service advisor, in-dealership experience, service delivery, service quality and user-friendly service.

The overall results are listed below.

I can't believe people are always going on and on about poor VW build quality, the proof is in the pudding ladies and gentlemen, VW totally kicked Daewoo's ass!

In your face world - VW rules!
Yes, but what do the numbers mean? They must stand for something. BTW, they seem to follow the quality rankings for the most part and favor luxury nameplates. Except for Toyota, wtf is up with that?

Notice that I said "for the most part" before the post-nazis jump on my butt for not being completely correct and observant.
Yeah. BMW behind Audi and Mercedes!!

LOL Sullie!!!!
Remember this particular JD study only represents Service Satisfaction. JD has a whole slew of these, initial quality, initial satisfaction, blah blah blah. This study is only how good the Service Department is doing. And I think we all know just how good VW service is.

I work at a dealership and we see these reports every month. Our GM and Service Managers take these very seriously. Some members of our organization even get bonuses off of these numbers.
