Fundraising for new mountain bike!

Second owner -- picked up about 6 years ago when she had a little over 93,000 miles. Was very well maintained + the timing belt was recently changed @ 90,000. We have now purchased a new Tiguan SEL and the faithful Passat must move on down the line.

2003 front wheel drive wagon -- runs and drives very well. 5 speed manual transmission, black leather. 17" late model VW wheels with two sets of good tires (Goodyear Eagles, Blizzaks). CD player + 6 disc changer. Monster mats. AC/Heat work great. Heated front seats. Strong 1.8 Turbo engine. Check Engine Light comes on intermittently -- I believe there is a small vacuum leak. Has been like that for past 20K miles. The outer clear lenses for the tail lights are removed (were cracked).

I love the car -- it has been very reliable and required very little maintenance. The clutch was changed (at a shop) around 120,000K and the coolant flange (by myself -- PITA) around 140,000K. Haven't dug into the vacuum leak because it still runs fine, averages 25 mpg around town, and I have other projects to spin wrenches on. 5 spd is very fun to drive. Would keep if it if I didn't already have a couple other German brethren taking up space/time/money.

Asking $2,500 OBO. Happy to show in Boulder Colorado. PM or email: [email protected] or call/text 970-331-9792
