I have recently used these forums to replace my head gasket and turbocharger, however I have found another leak after reassembling the engine and I cannot place my finger on it. I am hoping someone can just give me an idea where to look.

I spotted an oil leak dripping from right above the compressor...appears only when the car is running.

It is not coming from the compressor directly as I get directly under it and look between the hoses and belt, I can see it dripping from a higher corner of the engine.

However I cannot directly see the source of the leak, so there must be a source near there that may cause oil to drip directly down

Also note, when facing the engine and looking top down between the timing belt and fan, to the right of the turbo, there is a lot of oil sludge

im asking the forums users if there is a known hose on the front of the engine that may leak oil and cause it to drip directly down to the a/c compressor?

Check just under the rim of the valve cover for a leaking VCG. (Also check your spark plug holes; if any have oil in them, you can safely assume the rest of the VCG is hosed.) If your PCV system hasn't been overhauled yet, it's a fair chance it's clogged and causing the VCG/CCTG to leak.

Did you put sealant under the front cam bridge (that holds the seals and from cam bearing in place)? If not, that is the leak.

The valve cover gasket is good, I replaced it when I changed the head gasket (vcg came with the head gasket hit I bought)...I will also just double checked it as well just to make sure.

However I will run a test of the pcv system....and will begin looking into the cam bridge.

Thanks for the help guys!! If anyone has anymore info I will be much obliged!

Photos will be up soon as well just to get a better look my problem

I just replaced the turbo since my original was damaged when the head gasket broke, coolant leaked into the oil (and I cracked the head). The line to the turbo are good...no oil leaking from there (looking from the left side facing the engine...after removing the air box and looking down to the turbo)

Where is this "cam bridge" located? Would it be where the timing belt meets the cam shaft?

So I did more google research and have discovered that the PCV will be the very next thing to look Into for this mystery leak since I just learned that they are usually the #1 culprit in blown head gaskets and I do not want to blow the one I just replaced.

Good thing im a diy-er yet but too bad Im not rich

I'm tracing the same issue - but I found that oil is all over the intake tube AT the turbo and is dripping down right under the AC compressor - I'm wondering if my oil line to the turbo is leaking.

What did you end up finding?
