will 20" wheels fit on 04 passat wagon? and if so what would be the maximum width I can go? and what size tires . thanks for any advice. by the way, these wheels I'm looking to put on my wagon, are not available in 19" :???:

People have done it...you may have to roll the sheetmetal around your wheel wells to make them fit well but its possible. You could probably run them without mods if you put some seriously low profile tires if you are that brave.

I think you can put 20's on a passat now with that new tire size 225-30-20 I saw a mini cooper with 20's and those tires on so I would hope the passat can do the same.

Yep, BF Goodrich just relased 20'' tires for compact cars :thumbup:
