1999 passat v6 210000 miles Rough Idol car runs fine at hi RPM but...if you let off the gas and come to a red light it will stall.
has a hard time keeping idle at 9k rpm, you could take a road trip, once you get it rolling and as long as you were on the gas high rpm you wouldn't even know there was a problem, But if you have to let go of gas it will stall. you can see that it is fighting to keep the car around 9k rpm,
once the car warms up, the problem for the most part goes away.
also when doing cold start in morning, it runs the absolute worse, hardly can idle, and if i get o the gas it blows smoke adn crap out of the tail pipe.
