Hello,
My son just purchased his first car, which is a garage kept '91 Passat. The previous owner stated the fuel sending unit needed to be replaced (car won't start or run). The entire tank fuel sending assembly was removed. It is missing one of the bushing "bands" at the bottom, but what we really want to know is if there is a direct replacement (aftermarket) for the entire unit or should we just order the sending unit (module)?
Also, for this year are there similar model VWs that use the same parts?
Finally, it has the 2.0L engine, but when we searched for parts online some places were asking us if it was a B or C 2.0? How is this determined?
