Car kept going into limp mode but no EML or fault codes.
I recreated the problem several times and eventually done a vag com test today and got following code :

17965 charge pressure control positive deviation p1557 - 35-00

Reset and recreated problem (going into limp mode when accelerating uphill after 3-4000rpm)
Did a new test and got ;

17965 charge pressure control positive deviation p1557 - 35-10 intermittent


Before I reset the first code I didn't get any EML lights etc. Now I get 'Emissions Workshop' and EML light on.

Am I right in thinking it is the N75 valve or could there be several causes for this code?

A vacuum leak can cause this, as the VNT system is vacuum controlled

Go to the vacuum pump output... and start tracing for leaks.
