Well my transmission started acting strange yesterday, It would drive normal when you start but when It tries to go to the next gear it makes a thud and all the gear indicator lights come on and it seems to be stuck in 3rd or 4th but when I turn it off and on and it goes to the beginning and does the same thing again
I got a check engine light and i got it checked and it popped this code:17100(P0716)Input Turbine/Speed Sensor Circ. Range/Performance
What can be the problem?

Having same issue. Are you saying the cable that runs to transmission input speed sensor that runs to pan was loose or the cables in front of the transmission driver side with multiple wires going in?
