I'm a bit confused with the diagram, especially diagram 49/7 that shows the power distribution to/from the fuel pump relay.

tested fuel pump relay "372" on another car - good

tested fuel pump fuse 28, - good not getting any Volts when cranking

Also not getting Vots is the fuel pump

any ideas what to attempt next?

thanks

A quick check of the pump's motor circuit integrity can be done by removing the plastic cover from the pump relay, then pushing the contacts closed with your finger. If the fuel pump runs, then the problem has to be the relay control circuit. If it doesn't run, then (1) no battery power available at the relay's #30 contact, or (2) worn out fuel pump motor, or (3) wiring or ground defect.

just as a note ,the fuel pump only runs for about a second, then it stays inert/hibernates for a specific amount of time manually squeezing FP relay as suggested is the easiest way to check the circuit, this method will tell you where to look for the problem, "upstream" or "downstream" from the relay

fuel pump relay is in the number four position on the "central relay panel" not number four position on the 13 auxiliary fuse panel, often confused.
