I noticed that my headlights are pointed low and shake while going down the road. There doesn't appear to be any dirt getting inside (between the plastic lenses and bulbs) but the part that shakes is the entire chrome reflector where the bulbs sit.

Has anyone had this issue and know of a way to fix it?

Thank you

That's correct. Mine broke, zip tied it up as a temporary fix, but it's damn near impossible to break open the lens without, well, breaking things. Bending the main shell, anyway. Honestly, just find a good looking headlight at the junkyard or something, that's what I did.

Ok...Dayum!!!!

I have been looking for a post or video showing me how to remove the entire headlight..... Some say put the car in the service position and some say that's not necessary.

Can anyone hit me up with a link as to how to remove these (both drivers and passengers) side???

I don't want to have to buy new ones if I can fix these...

If the ball joint or rubber tube joint in the adjusters comes apart, they can be put back together through the openings in the back.
I wouldn't attempt this without first removing the lights.
Tomvw

I am really unfamiliar with these lights. Once I get the whole assembly off the car and the bulbs out is it pretty obvious what's broken? IE.. ball joint/rubber tube joint?

I'm hoping I can give these a permanent fix and not have to replace them. I just spent a few hrs last weekend polishing them. (couldn't even see inside) and now their dang near new looking. They were so hazed over I never even noticed them shaking lol

Got the lights removed and it was very evident as to what was broken. There is a rod in the back (it sits in what could be a joint that allows it to move all around. Was that the ball joint you mentioned Tomvw?

That part hadn't separated but there is a round white plastic part where the rod comes through that was all broken in the center and very brittle.

It had 3 tabs on it to help (I'm guessing) to adjust something or unscrew to remove it but they broke when I tried to see if that part could be replaced. I was able to shake out other broken pieces of plastic which were whit but have no clue where those pieces came from.

The insulation was cracking and exposing all the wires so I'm going to just replace them.
