04 Passat 1.8t 4motion !!!!!HELP!!!

I just bought (my first vw) a Well maintained 04 Passat 1.8t Auto a month ago the Other day after sliding off the road the turbo was suddenly way louder than before I can’t find anything broken underneath and only have a lean code does anyone know what may have caused it to get louder Also after a 20 min drive my manifold right after the turbo is red hot is that normal? Please any help is greatly appreciated
