Hello All, I am from UK :) I have a passat 2003 1.9 TDI I am having problems with the ABS unit programming as VCDS wont do anything and just keeps saying login in timed out. any one else had this problem?

We are noobs, my husband does the mechanics, I do the searches to help him find the info he needs. We have visited this site many times and found very useful info, so today I decided to join because were having a problem and I have been reading so many threads, my eyes can't see straight. Now...

I cannot reach the post-cat sensor, need to disconnect it to change the flex pipe portion of the exhaust system...Disconnect all sensors (after removing air filter housing), remove cat and downpipe, replace flex pipe portion, reconnect with cat, reinstall the section to turbo exhaust, reconnect...

Newb to this forum (but, longtime Vortex member) - bought myself an '02 1.8t GLS wagon a couple of weeks ago to replace a very rusty '86 Quantum Syncro. Pics can follow later in the week (need daylight for that.....) Already catching the car up on maintenance, and planning a few upgrades...
