The manual for my 30v V6 says 5w40 is suitable for regular use, 5w30 for topping off. Then there is an insert stating that 5w30 can be used regularly. Considering our cold climate (VT) which is a better choice? Should I use one in winter, one in summer? TIA Neil

Hi, all the cars that I've owned had the weights attached to the edge of the outer rim, but in my Passat, it seems to be stuck inside the rim. If I take my car to an independent dealer, will they just attach the weights to the edge of the rim? Sorry, if this seems like a stupid question.

Clay, The Tirerack website doesn't list weights for the OZ Superturismo GT (17x7.5) and the Sport Edition Fox 5 (also 17x7.5). Any chance someone there could put them on a scale and publish the weights?
