So, people say that waxing your wheels is good to prevent brake dust. Well, i am going to upgrade my front brakes because although they are new, they are also horredous for the dust that comes off of them.
anyhow.. what do you wax with?
I found this detailing site last year around summer and I read alot of the info and changed some steps but still have some questions. I started using two buckets to wash, using microfiber cloths and wash mit. I bought a buffer and I have meguirs three step crystal method or something like that...
Got my clear indicators fitted now (thanks sjrainsford!). Also gave my car it's first waxing since I bought it. About 10 mins later a thunderstorm arrived, so between showers, I ran out and got a few pics.
I love the look of the clear indicators, they're so clean (I know they're nothing special...
Is there a special way to wax the car without leaving any swirls?
I keep looking at some of the pictures on this forum and the paint is like a mirror. I would really like to see the same mirror effect without swirls on my car.
I'm planning on fully cleaning the exterior of my '98 Candy White car. I'm going to:

Hi Y'all -- My beauty is about 3 mos old now and needs a waxing. My pal here in Florida has a guy who used a liquid wax and electric buffers and only charges $25. I don't know -- doesn't sound kosher! I think my car deserves better; maybe a loving hand job with some special wax.
