So i have a 99 passat 1.8t and at one point i had my vaccum at 22 now its high 23 or 24hg.. I deleted my evap system and every other hose is vac hose is silicone.. What could be causing this everything is tight

OK. Took the car to a mechanic because needed to replace the fluid line from the clutch master cylinder to the slave sleeve cylinder. Car was running fine before I took it, except for the clutch not working. Mechanic calls, says it won't start? Calls back and says it started, was "flooded"...

I did a search but can only seem to find 1.8t info. I have a 2000 V6 ATQ and want to replace the lines with silicone. Also, I know I saw a DIY write up for it but for the life of me can't seem to find it again. I think it might have been linked outside of PassatWorld? Any help would be appreciated.
