I am repairing a 2001.5 B5.5/1.8T I went to put it in service position and found the stud from the snub mount missing. Some hack mechanic did a hack job because they did know what they were doing. The OEM snub mount was still there. Is there an easy way to repair this?

Attempted to replace snub mount. Ive removed the three bolts from the metal carrier however, it seems as though the metal carrier is welded to the oil pan, therefore I cannot even see or remove old snub. Anyone have this experience with the AUG engine? Or maybe im missing something?:banghead:
