I am just curious on what is the performance gain by installing a Snub Mount? If my 1.8T is not chipped, should I still go for a snub mount? I read other posts that Greddy snub mount is about $18 shipped. This can be a good mod on my weekend. Thanks for all your experts' opnions. 2000 1.8T

I'm gonna be installing either one of these very soon cuz my car shifts like ass. I wanna know your opinions on which one I should go with. The greedspeed one sells for only 13 bucks while apr wants 50 for theirs. Which one is stiffer? Can anyone compre the two? I know that its very unlikely...

I see on APR website that the snub mount is not listed for 2003 Passat. Is the snub mount the same from the B% to the B5.5???? Is the Snub mount recommented over the AWE DTS??? Is the DTS like a snub mount and a lower tie bar in combo? Where does the "Chas" bar compare in all of this? HEEEELP

I've heard of these snub mounts but who has these and can give their opinion on them? Do they increase engine vibration that is transferred to the cabin? I know that they are supposed to reduce the movement of the engine and drivetrain but does the harder mount have any negative qualities?

ok, anything i've ever said about being on the fence about the snub mount...throw them out the door! all vibration has been removed, and it took 5 minutes. i loosened the mount today while the car was on the lift, let it idle for a few moments, gave the throttle a few jabs, let it idle again...
