Fits 98-maybe 2003 1.8T. Also most A4 b5/b6 1.8T. As long as your stock hose clamps on each end, this will fit. A couple of little gouges from hose clamps over the years and darker due to oil exposure. May clean up, but haven't tried yet.
$45 shipped conus only or apo.
So I'm 99% sure I have a boost leak. In 1st gear I'll only boost at 10 then 2nd will be 15/17, and 3rd will be 20. I don't know where it's coming from, but I saw the samco hoses and forge hoses. Are these worth the price? I have stock hoses right now, and I'm sure they aren't strong enough for...
I've been talking with the guys at SAMCO (the actual company, not a distributor), and I showed them some of the archived threads about problems people have had with their hoses. They say if someone could send in a complete stock hose kit along with info about engine model and manufacture date...
While I was at Waterfest, I talked to a Samco rep. If I recall he stated that, he was a B5.5 owner and that Samco finally released a fully compatiable kit for the B5.5.
Does anyone know who I am talking about?
Bought a Samco hose kit TCS266 about 1 year ago for my AEB Passat. Everything fit correctly but the Throttle Body hose.
Back and forth on the phone, got another throttle body hose 4 months later from another TCS266 kit, it still didn't fit. It was exactly like the oringinal samco hose from...
Anybody running or know anybody that has one (piston type)? I have a chance to buy a used one for like $75 and wondered if it is a good alternative to the Forge/hyperboost/Bailey variety. Here's a link I found. http://www.gmpperformance.com/index.cfm?PG=detail&PID=142947&VS=1Thanks
how many hoses can be replaced with the samco inlet hoses. there is the turbo inlet hose, but i've heard of the hose from the IC-TB. how many can be replaced, and what are their locations? is there anyway to purchase however many in a kit?
