I've been looking around to see what size piping is my stock exhaust to remove the stock muffler and add a magnaflow muffler with remus tip. I hear stock is 2in... 2.25in.
Which is it? And should I go for an outlet size of 2.5? I dont want it too big. What size do I go for inlet?
Okay so I bought a remiss muffler for my 1.8t, I put it on and it sounds the same.lol I talked to a friend and he said to take out the resonator and straight pipe it. Whst do you titys think. I juss want a more aggressive deeper sound.
So, I'm looking into an exhaust upgrade for my B5 V6, I have heard good things about the deep growl provided by the remus muffler. Now, should that muffler be matched with a glasspack, resonator or straightpipes. Does anyone know of any place that sells the remus muffler?
Hey, Im in the market for a new exhaust, just the muffler and tip at the moment. I am just wondering whether I should go with the much more expensive Remus, or a cheapy brand? will I notice any difference? The remus is double the price... Thanks Much
I just installed a new Remus muffler today,but the there is barely any difference in the sound.I want to remove the middle silencer and put a straight pipe there.Did that anybody allready?Is it not dangerous?Is it not gona be to loud after that?I have a V6.Please,somebody give me an advice.:nervous:
