Does anything last longer than Rain-x on the front windshield? i was so used to not using my wipers at all but tonight it rained and it looked like i had nothing on the windshield the visibility sucked

At $18.99 each, they're no deal compared to the Bosch Icon blades from AutoZone, but I wondered if anyone had any experience with these on a B5/5.5. Particularly durability, and how they adapt to the VW wiper arm.

EDIT: so heres another thought. the Rain-X wiper blades were on sale at meijer. they fit 98% of all cars... blah blah blah. i got em for 6 bucks each but they freaking suck. they dont connect well at all, and while a 21 works (kinda) on the driver side, the 19 doesnt even fit on the passenger...

My brother's GLX has rain-sensing windshield wipers. Has anyone with a GLX used Rain-X on their windshield? If so, does it "confuse" the rain sensor at all?
