As the title says, how big are the holes thats left after you remove the roof rails?
I want to buy rubber grommets to fill the holes, but I want to order them before I take the rails of the car!
Btw, its a 1999 1,9 tdi variant

I'm getting my 5.5 wagon painted this week. I have everythingn off except the chrome rails above the windows. They are riveted on. Has anybody removed these before? How difficult are they remove and reinstall without damaging? has anybody painted their car with them on?
