Hi all, Haven’t seen too much info on this for the B7, but originally I had the code P2402 pop (Evaporative Emission (EVAP) System Leak Detection Pump Control Circuit High). I replaced the Leak Detection pump with the Dorman part, reinstalled the charcoal canister, and cleared the dtc codes...

Had a P0441 code on my 2004 Passat V6. Replaced the purge valve and verified the valve was operating correctly. Can hear it “tapping” away. Any ideas aside from looking into replacing the vapor canister?

I am fairly new to the group. I am Charles and very excited to be a part of such an amazing group. This site is more than informative. I just installed a canister purge valve and accidentally tore the rubber encasement. Does anyone know what that rubber cap is called and if you have information...

I have a 1999 B5 that I am hunting a new vapor canister purge valve for. The OEM part number from the valve is 058 133 459. I cannot find this new for the life of me. I am wondering if the Bosch 058133517 will work. If not can someone point me to this little devil!:banghead:

Hey guys, I'm new so i can't post in the B5 section. So i noticed a thumping noise in the rear left hand fender well when the purge valve (N80) pulses that is very noticable at idle when stopped. Heres a video of my problem -- The video shows somewhat inside the rear drivers side rear wheel...

I posted this question at the garage, however, either nobody knows the answer, or they don't want to bother to reply. Question is: where is the purge valve (n-80), sometimes called the diverter valve located? I have heard that it is on the inside of the right rear fender well liner, or maybe...

I recall seeing and smelling smoke coming out of my grill a few weeks ago. It's happened before and was just leaves. But, coincidentally or not, I also got a P0441 around that same time. Also, I noticed there's a burn hole in the hood insulation directly above my N80. Is that even possible?

My engine light was on and I took it to the dealership to diagnose. They said the issue was related to the purge control valve and when they inspected the valve they claimed there was residue of charcoal suggesting that the charcoal cannister probably needed to be replaced as well. As you can...
