I just replaced the engine and transmission in 2006 Passat value edition 2.0t . Runs great just no turbo boost whatsoever. I need to know what fuse power the n80, n75 and n249 valves. I know the 480 relay is on this circuit but the fuse that powers it is blown. Thanks in advance!

During the vagcom 070 purge test I get a air hissing noise from near the back of the intake manifold. I have replaced most vacuum lines. Is this noise normal? the noise is a constant hiss and does not pulse with the n80 valve. Is there some sort of pump running to pressurize the system...

I posted this question at the garage, however, either nobody knows the answer, or they don't want to bother to reply. Question is: where is the purge valve (n-80), sometimes called the diverter valve located? I have heard that it is on the inside of the right rear fender well liner, or maybe...

I have the P0442 code. Gas cap was replaced with OEM dealer item. Still have the code. Now I am looking at the purge valve, but am getting conflicting information on where it is located. I have the 07 Passat 2.0 FSI. Is this valve locted inside the right rear fender well, or the right front...

So when I read group 70 in measuring blocks (using licensed Vag-Com) I receive a flow rating of about 27.8% for the Evap valve. However, the car never runs the readiness test for EVAP. If I switch over to basic settings the flow rate drops down to 0% until I switch back to measuring blocks...

What's the cheapest source for a new N80 valve for B5/5.5? $55 seems kinda steep since mine only lasted 18mo

I recall seeing and smelling smoke coming out of my grill a few weeks ago. It's happened before and was just leaves. But, coincidentally or not, I also got a P0441 around that same time. Also, I noticed there's a burn hole in the hood insulation directly above my N80. Is that even possible?

I m getting p0441 every once in a while. It can take a month or more to come back after turning off the cell. my n80 valve clicks normally with engine on, does that mean that for sure it's fine or should I still suspect it? any other known cause for p0441? (n115 valve?) thanks

Anyone have an extra one laying around? I can't afford to throw $50 at one from ecstuning. P0441 code and I know my OEM one is going out. Tried to clean it with carb cleaner.....worked for a time. Now it's time to just get another one. Let me know if you have an extra. TIA

Hey all, The other night we were filling up the wife's wagon (01.5 4mo) and I noticed the fuel pump clicked off at least a couple gallons short. OK, no big deal, sometimes it happens. I pull the pump out, reinsert it, and begin again. It filled about 2-3 more gallons and then started leaking...

Here is the story, I have been trying to track down a P0456 code. I ran test 71 under basic settings of vagcom and get small leak detected. I have disconected the n80 hose opposite the harness and plugged it. Ran the test again with it plugged and it passed twice. I am assuming the leak is...

For the past 1 month or so, each time the gas cap open warning resets itself, the CEL comes on and vice-versa. I just continue to ignore it. So I decided to get the stupid CEL diagnosed today and there goes the call from the dealer shop..The service mgr said I'll need N80 Valve Intake Valve...

I have an 04 Passat with a 1.8T and recently had the CEL lamp illuminate. The code that came up was P0456. After searching this site the most common problem seem to be the N80 valve. Can someone describe our send me a pic of where this is located? Thanks!

Just didn't want to have to fool with that valve if the misfire code(s) have nothing to do with them. that way i can look at the ignition wires and ignition coil for my prob that's throwing that code...misfire in cylinder 4.
