Time to change front shocks, they start to make noise on bad road and my Passat b5.5 tdi 130hp sway like boat :D
So, what to chose?
I head bad things about Bilstein b4 btw....made in Romania, bad quality...1 year only warranty.

Shocks are original, so about 12yrs old and 95k miles on them. Front left is giving me trouble, so I want to replace all 4 while I'm at it.
I would LOVE to replace these with OEM parts, but I'm in a position to buy all four Monroe shocks for $268 (uber cheap). So the question...

i have a '99 passat gls 1.8t... i want to install new front brake pads. my friend recommended monroe; however the monroe brakes website lists 4 different sets of pads for m car, each with a different plug, and one set without the wire wear sensor. how do i know which one to get?
