    I have a 99 passt B5 It is coding 301 misfire cylinder 2. I suspect the coil pack is bad. It was originaly on cyl 1 and coded misfire cyliner 1 so i moved it to 2 and now the same code. The second code is 501vehicle speed sensor range performance. I have no idea what this is or if it...

    Just didn't want to have to fool with that valve if the misfire code(s) have nothing to do with them. that way i can look at the ignition wires and ignition coil for my prob that's throwing that code...misfire in cylinder 4.
