    My boot is all torn and my shifter is missing the gear sticker want to change it out this winter. It's too bad it's not a threader shifter like my ol' integra.

    I removed my old shift knob/boot to install the new one I bought but I have an issue. Neither the old one (which was jury rigged and spun around easily) or the new one has the white plastic piece shown in the picture. Is that a part that should be available from the dealer?
