I have a b5 1.8t living in phoenix arizona where its 115 degrees everyday and night. So I'm wondering what type of oil should I use. I also noticed inside manual, they said not to used 5 30 if you drive in hot weather or at high speed in hot weather.. so does this mean I should use a 5 40

so i just got my first vw passat two weeks ago from a dealer, its a 03 the first week i got it and the check engine light came on. its the code that says coolant system fail, and now my car shakes really bad anything over 50mph not happy and all and dealer wont do anything for me!
