    Hi. My rear cupholders in my 98 passat is missing so I'm ordering a new one. Part number is 3B0862533AB41. Picture below. It seems like it's suppose to have a trim piece on the front. Can anyone confirm and or give me the part number. Thanks :)

    I have a 2006 3.6L 4motion and was wondering if someone could explain ESP. Should I have this on when driving in the snow. This is my first winter with this car and don't have a manual. No its not in the cd changer compartment.

    i just did engine swap to an 02 passat that broke timing belt, engine came from an 03 so the emissions crap was different i had to switch everything over from the old engine (which wasnt running when i got it to verify what worked and what didnt) now the car goes into limp mode and i get p1555...

    I have a 2001 GLX Wagon 4motion. I'm trying to figure out if the 4motion system always gives all 4 wheels power. or is it only when i put it in 4, 3, or 2? i'm about to go through my first winter with my passat and we get a lot of snow.

    So I see this alot. Hopefully someone can shed some light on the subject for me. WHY on earth do people put a fatter/bigger wheel on the ass end of a FWD car. In terms of practicality, it just doesn't make any sense. But then again, as VW owners, when do add practicality in owning one?

    i have the ever so common burning smell and when i open the bonnet i can see a tiny bit of smoke rising out from the shroud that encases the fans against the radiator... i dont think smoke would come from that place if it were the cct gasket... but i dont know... any thoughts? 2002 glx...
