My passat had a little incident, a cyclist crash into my car and break my tail light lens... so i get it replace.... and...I make my broken tail light in to good use... check it out.

When I drive from tx to san francisco in may I'm wondering what would happen if I got a power inverter for the cigarette lighter and ran my desktop off that (to play Mp3's). Might just be a really dumb idea as it might wear out the alternator/internal compondents of desktop? Anyone ever try this?
