Ran this set of 4 plugs way less than 500 miles in my 1.8T. Very slight normal patina, but absolutely no wear. $12 + ship.

I ordered a new AC compressor for the wife's 2000 Passat ATW and the company shipped me the wrong one. Due to their incompetence I still have it in the original plastic bag. Not sure of the brand but can look at it later. The 00 model year used two different types of compressors. This one...

I picked up some Denso plugs, pre gapped to .044 This seemed too big but I didn't mess with them and everything seems to be running good so far. Anybody else use the Denso plugs? 2006 2.0T

Denso spark plugs (which NAPA says for AWM engine) DEN 5061 (Copper) $4.59 DEN 4504 (Platinum TT) $2.99 Both are gapped at .040. Do i need regap them to .032? Does both work? Platinum is better? Thought of trying some thing other than the expensive NGK PFR6Q.

I just bought my B5 Passat 1.8T. The A/C didn't work but the previous owner gave me the invoice of the guy that had to have fixed it and said I must just take it back to him as it's paid for. When I changed the engine oil I had a look and it's apparent that the compressor is leaking out the...

I have an ATW 1.8 and it's time to replace the plugs again. I went to autozone and they had Denso PK20PR-L11 platinums. Will these work for my car and what gap (it seems most people recommend 0.032")? Thanks

My '99 1.8t was misfiring badly today (blinking engine light) and after Autozone's free scan said the #2 cylinder was misfiring, I replaced the spark plugs, which solved the problem. I don't remember the original plugs (NGK?) but the engine was still running fine when I replaced them at 40K...

I recomend this to all B5 drivers. when I took out my old plugs they were Bosh super and it drove...

So, after reading all the previous posts about which spark plugs are the best...and the "one" Sharky doesn't approve of  ... I still don't know if the three prong cheapo Denso's should be gapped. AutoZone still writes the gap on the box when you buy these and there are some on this forum...

I have had my denso 3 prong plugs for about 6 months and for the past few months they have been kicking when the engine is at idle. Now its getting worse. I just had my coil packs replaced with the recall issue, so its not that. The whole car just got a complete 40k mile tune up. The only...
