I have found a list of recalls for my 2003 VW passat. My question is: Is there an end date for these recalls? Can I still go to the dealer and demand that fixes all the recalls or not?! The recalls are several years old.

I recently had all 4 tires replaced with Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires.
The tires have DOT markings as follows:
Tire 1 - APAE YOXX 3809
Tire 2 - APAE YOXX 3909
Tire 3 - APAE YOXX 4009
Tire 4 - APAE YOXX
What concerns me is tire 4 did not have a date stamp only blank oval.
We just purchased a 2007 2.0T passat. I am a VW noob.
So far I really like the car. we're looking at getting some 18's, HID's, and proly a chip.
My first major hurdle is figuring out how to set the date in the display screen below the tach. The car is not a nav. model, and I can't find...
When a car goes "in-service", what does that mean?
When the car was made in Germany? Or when the original dealership sells the car to a customer??
Mine was on the lot for 7 months before it sold in 2004. So I'm hoping the clock started when the purchase was made...anyone?
