I recently put a set of these on my wife's wagon. They are not a perfect fit, but the do fit snugly and securely.
I used them to put a Thule Summit top box and they work great. Also put my bike rack on it and no issues.
They are a knock off of Thule design at 1/4-1/3 the price.
Crossbars have been SOLD.
Sold 04 4Mo wagon and they did not want VW Factory Crossbars, they are in very good condition and I have tool to put on and take off along with key for locks.

Like the title says, I'm looking for the crossbars that were available from VW and a single bike carrier for an '04 Variant. I have a set of older Thule ones that fit, but I want a set I can just leave on all the time, and the ones I have are not low enough profile.
I have the OEM cross bars for my B5.5 (pic below) and must use Thule Xsporter Adapter 2 to get the Thule V2 bike trays to mount. I'm considering getting a kayak but I'm curious/worried about how I will transport it.
