I have OEM 6 disc CD Changer with a 6 disc cartridge for 98-05 Passats. (I just sold the CD Changer without a cartridge.) $70 plus shipping. I tested them in my B5.5 2001.5 Passat and they connect perfectly and work well.

My dealer said the trunk is pre-wired for a 6-cd changer and that I should buy an after market one to save my self some money and also get a nicer one (such as mp3 playback, etc). I was wondering if any brand of cd changer would work through the stock head unit or if only certain brands do...
