I've had Bilstein HD's on my B5 wagon for about 5k miles. Fronts ride and handle great. Could do with softer damping in the rear. It just feels a little too harsh and jittery. Has anyone paired Bilstein fronts with Konis in the rear? Or tried other combos?

First off I have a 2000 passat sedan 2wd 1.8t. About a year ago I installed Brand new bilstein Hd's and a set of used (unknown mileage) H&R oe lowering springs. Ever since then the car's suspension feels terrible. The car drives really floaty when you hit a bump doing say 60mph the car bounces...

What is the difference between Bilsteins for low number vins Passats vs. the higher number vin Passats. I spoke with Shox.com and they thought the difference was spring spearch height. They thought the newer Passats had a 10mm lower spring perch hieght because the springs were longer and that...

I was going to install H&R OE's and Bilsteins on my B5. . . good choice or switch? I've come across some conflicting info regarding the drop with H&R OE sport springs and Bilstein sport shocks. I have a '99 (therefore not a high-VIN B5), so I don't think I should get greater drop in the rear...

I clicked on shox.com's "Internet Car Club's Specials" last night to get a quote on Koni and Bilstein shocks. Well, unfortunately, they didn't offer me any discount at all on either one.:(
