    I just received my a8 rotor upgrade kit. Now I'm realizing how heavy they are. They are 19 lbs each for the 312mm . Any one have weight of the stock ones for a 98 with the 282mm rotors?

    My 99 Passat is one of the early B5's that have the 11" (282mm) rotors. I bought the 11.3" rotors from a group buy. ECS Tuning tells me I will have to buy new calipers and carriers to make these rotors work. I know many of you have done the same. Please tell me what I need to do. Thanks, John

    Hi guys! My brakes need to be replaced and I was wondering that since my car is -97, it uses 282mm front rotors but the 98-> models use 288mm front rotors. So could I do a little brake upgrade and replace 282 -> 288 ? Is it a direct swap or do I need to replace the calibers too?
