Hey how's everyone doing today? I just got a used h&r cup kit in the classifieds and I was wondering if I should go with the 1be bump stops, since they are designed for lowered suspension. I need new bump stops anyway and I don't know if I should get the standard bump stops or the sport bump...

Just finished installing Vogtland Springs with Bilstein Sport Struts and Shocks With 1BE Bump Stops Front and Rear and Meyle HD front control arm kit. I put the suspension under load to tighten the control arms and all bolts for the bushings and it looks like the struts are only a 1/4 of an...

So I've finally decided I'm doing the conversion to 1BE +Koni from my H&R Sport + Koni suspension. Troy at 1stvwparts has been really helpful, and has been able to track parts down but they'd have to be ordered from Germany (3-4 weeks delivery). I'm having some trouble deciding the actual...

I have a 2000 V6 FWD wagon and am looking to upgrade the suspension since one of my rear shocks is blown anyway. After snooping around a bit, I am getting some idea of what direction I want to go in and was wondering what people thought of the set up: 1BE springs with Koni STR.T shocks. I'm...

I will be having some H&R sport springs and Bilstein sport shocks arriving soon and I was wondering what I should do with the bumpstops for this setup. Most of the threads about this deal with the Eibach pro-kit, and had mixed replies anyways. I don't know if the springs are designed to work...

I presently still have the stock 1BA on my 2005 B5.5 TDI. Pondering right now on a possible "Stage 1" change in the near future. Slight drop(nothing more than 1 inch), while tightening up the float on high speed dips, whilst maintaining ride compliancy over potholes and gravel roads. I have...

I was looking around and wanted to know if any of you had thought about gettting the 1BE equivolent suspention from Monroe or another aftermarket brand. I went to their UK site and they have part numbers et al for the Passat Sport Suspention. If they are available there should we be able to...

Is it a bad idea? I know the FSD shocks are ride-height-sensitive, but 1BE only drops it by, what, 3/4"? Is that still in the "safe zone"? I ask because if my car lasts the winter, I'm going to put new shocks on it in the spring.
