About every Chevy is labled as a 1500. (Unless it's a 2500 etc.) Trucks, Tahoe's, Suburbans... Dodge's are labled 1500, 2500 etc also. What the heck does this mean, I asked 2 salesmen and they had no clue. One said because it's a 1/2 ton payload capacity truck...but sorry 1/2 a ton is not 1500.
