    Cars almost ready! (timeline pics)

got the idea from an M3 thread on bimmerforums last year but recently I;ve been seeing quite a few similar cars popping up so I figured I should start posting pics so I dont get any haters..

some boxes and stuff waiting to go on:

    interior shots:

no more VW and PASSAT, they have been shaved:

    prep work finished:

still keepin busy without my car...

can we say....DIRTY!! [cabin air filters air thats used in the vents]

...chassis brace bar (C-Bar)....plain and simple yet very effective

I see said the blind man

make your own shift boot and guage pod pillar

Sneak peek in the garage...please excuse my crappy camera-phone...

I'll have more pics after this weekend after its buffed n nat

You should really consider painting your trunk black.

    That was for you Gene!

    Nice!

Did you do the hood a second time? I notice a slight difference in the line from the first pic of the hood you posted.

thats a different car....I didn't folow the body lines in the hood, I wanted it to flow and line up with the edges of the grille

Wow! Nice look. I love the black roof look on the B5's!!! Nice job man!  I'd really love to do the roof of my car in black, but that's the only body panel on my car that isn't dinged or scratched.

And of course the C-Bar is in place and working correctly?

Again, wonderful job and a great car!

    8) werks like a charm

The only problem I had was that there wasn't enough top clearance on the drivers side to fit the nut with that upper washer on so I just let it go. Im gonna check it when I change my oil this week. So far so good

Thanks guys. Heres some other pics. I re-upholstered the door inserts with black fleece because the factory velour was seperating from the plastic shell....its nice and soooft and sprayed the guage pod pillar and dor handles a silver to match the outside. I think it contrasts pretty well, just need to finish sewing my shift boot and the stereo install (woopeee) and that should be it for this year.

I need my fenders rolled BAD!!!
