You could. I'm not sure how your winter months usually are. In America, a lot of the states use chemical de-icer or salt on the roads to reduce ice build up. All that crap on the roads can really eat at your wheel finish.

What part of Germany are you in? It's been a long time but I lived in Koln for a little while. I Did a lot of traveling around Germany over those few months. I loved it. I really miss the great architecture, trains, beer, and good soccer.

I live in Northrhine-Westphalia near the dutch border. We use salt in the winter too.IĀ“m not sure if itĀ“s problematic to drive on 8.5 " and 225/40-18 in the snow(if some snow will fall).

You will get better handling on snow and ice with a more narrow tire than if you stay with a wider one.

    Ambient light

    Sirs

After i installed the W 8 map lamp, my son wanted to have his own ambient light on the backseats.
Did some research and found those:

    at night

    at daylight

BTW: Lamps are door warning lights, coming from Phaeton, X-mounted

    Sirs

So i replaced my front discs, because the old ones had been wearn out.
Nice opportunity for my brake upgrade

    Before :

    meanwhile:

    installed:

    after:

Discs : Zimmermann 312 mm, Pads: EBC Blackstuff, Caliper carriers: OEM, Brakelines: Goodrigde Inox.

IMO better braking results, but maybe very subjective becaucse of the new pads and rotors.

I thought over to paint the lowers and the black areas of the bumpers, but no paintshop was able to gurantee me that the paint will not be damaged by swashing (?) stones o.s.e.
Maybe iĀ“ll change the rub strips for the V6 look.(Once upon the time, in the future...(Very old intention))

Didn't buy the umbrella since it looks like it has to be ordered from a Korean website.
