    Hello everyone, i hope you are all well.
    I recently bought a 1998 passat 1.8 se 20v that i have been sorting out. ( locks not working etc etc!) I had many flatspots when accelerating so have researched the problem and decided to take the throttle body off to clean it. Took 30mins just to clean it. Ruddy filthy!!     i have a 2001 passat glx , when i shut off the car there is a static coming for all the speakers and it kills my battery. i have went as far as pulling the aftermarket head unit out and disconnecting the plug from the cars factory clips everything is clean wiring and i have checked that over and over again no factory wires have been cut to put in the head unit i have been disconnecting the car battery at night if not it will kill the battery anyway, when i connect the car battery back in the static ...

    Brake pads, inboard pad on drivers side has an electrical connector in the pad itself. This plugs into the connector located on the spindle, right above the caliper. Not all pads have this option. Only on the one side.

    Part of both messages: To fill it without the filler tube elbow, it must be pumped some how up into the fluid stand pipe, and then it goes into the pan. The level is full when the fluid quits dripping out the plug hole from the stand pipe. Then tighten the pan plug to recommended torque.
